Review: Lindsay Aline CD

I LOVE music and am always on the lookout for exciting new artists. When I was given the opportunity to review Lindsay Aline's new cd, I couldn't wait for it to arrive!

Her cd did not disappoint! I loved her smooth, beautiful voice! One of my favorite tracks is a song called "Belong". I am a sucker for love/pop songs!(lol)

You can purchase her cd from Amazon.com and it's very affordable.

Want to learn more about this amazing artist?

Well, here is Lindsay's bio:

23-year-old San Francisco Bay Area native Lindsay Aline wrote her first song “What Would It Be Like” just short of three years ago. Lindsay explains that at the time, she was convinced that her lofty dreams were mere fantasies of a simple girl. What started out as an impulsive desire to put music to her life evolved into a passion for songwriting that now stands as the core toward which she is working. Classically trained, Aline’s music combines orchestral depth with contemporary rhythms and vocals. Her voice has been said to have both dramatic, lyrical qualities as well as resonant, folk qualities.

Also, here is more about Lindsay's debut cd:

Since its release in 2009, Lindsay Aline’s 11-track album has landed attention nationwide through all the major online social networks as well as a variety of radio and podcast stations, news columns, blogs, performing events, and more. Aline’s recent developments include the production of her first music video for her highly rated song “Reach”. Listeners’ feedback reflect opinions that her album is “refreshing, yet deep,” and “a balance of incredible vocals and soulful lyrics.” It’s empowering and uplifting. It has a Pop-Classical feed to it with a Celtic flair, all of which is laced with emotion. A supposed mix of Sissel, Josh Groban, Imogen Heap, and Evanescence.

Lindsay’s intentions include both the desire to influence the music industry for the better as well as brighten the personal lives of people

She does remind me of Imogen Heap! I LOVE her music as well, so it's great to see Lindsay draw her inspiration from several of my favorite artists!

This will be a cd I listen to often as I found it very soothing.
